rules [12 Jul 2008|08:04am]
Activity will be monitored. You must update your character's journal every six weeks. In order to ensure activity, we ask that you post your threads and AIM logs in the threading community on a regular basis. We understand that some writers would prefer to filter threads, and you may do that instead of posting publicly in the community. However, should you filter threads, you must make the filtered journal entries viewable to the moderator. We promise not to share or interfere with any content in the scene. Removal warnings will be posted a week before the actual removal.

One liners and placeholders will not be counted as actual updates. Six weeks is plenty of time for an update, but if you need a little more time, ask the moderator for an extension. Life happens, we get that, so don't be afraid to ask for an extension if you need one!

This community is set in England. Your character does not necessarily have to live in England to be a part of this community. However, while in this game, each character should write or focus on the success (or failure) of their career across the pond. Sure, they can be a rock legend in America, but how do they make out in England? Feel free to mention world tours, vacations to other regions and so on; just remember that at the end of the day, it's all about Britain.

AIM is optional in this community. If you join with the intent of scening over AIM, we ask that your screen name have your character's name.

Crossovers are allowed, but please be realistic. Not everyone can be incredibly successful as both a singer and an actor.

Actors and directors should only list up to four films a year. As of this moment, we are only listing 20 films per year with 20 additional slots for your convenience. If there is a film you would like to list in your character's filmography then do so. However if you list a film that is not listed in [info]musictelevision, you must submit the film's information. This includes the film's title, a short summary (feel free to copy and paste from IMDB) and a list of characters. Any film submitted without the required information will not be added to the credits journal and that specific applicant will not be added to the community until they do send the information needed. You may submit up to 3 additional listings.

You do not need permission to go forward with drama, but we do ask that you avoid involving issues of rape and suicide. Any other forms of drama are allowed, just do us a favor and let us know what's going on, okay? Send us a PM informing us that somethin' is going to hit the fan, just so we know what's going on beforehand. Thanks!

There is no character limit, we just ask that you make sure you can handle whatever number of characters you have.
